First come, first served.

Indiana Public Radio has given MYPG 10 tickets to next Wednesday’s Shelby Lynne concert at Anderson’s Paramount Theater. In case you don’t recall, Lynne received the Best New Artist Grammy around the year 2001, even though she had been recording and releasing music for the previous 10 years. Since winning the Grammy, Lynne has enjoyed success in a number of genres including country, pop, and Jazz. You might also remember her from the movie “Walk the Line,” where she played Carrie Cash.

Click here for more information on Shelby Lynne.

You may reserve up to 2 tickets (valued at $30-$50 each).

GO PUBLIC!

Indiana Public Radio needs MYPG to volunteer for the upcoming Spring Pledge DriveIPR

Volunteering during the pledge drive is fun and easy, and you’ll even be fed! Volunteers will simply answer phones and take pledge information while IPR staff are live on the air asking for listeners to call in their support. MYPG will be mentioned multiple times on-air and a member will get to do an on air interview discussing why public radio is important to them and MYPG.

MYPG will be covering two shifts on Saturday, March 29th, 2007. Choose from 10:00 AM to noon or noon to 2:00 PM. The pledge drive will be held in the Letterman Communications Building on BSU’s campus. To volunteer, contact Traci Lutton at tlutton@muncie.com or 751-9126 and indicate your shift preference.

You, too, can be artsy fartsy!

Come join fellow MYPG members as we paint our own pottery at The Artist Within. All sorts of items, including mugs, plates and ornaments are available to paint. Don’t worry if you don’t feel artistic. There are stencils and samples to help you out. Refreshments will be provided.
